Question 1

Is Rent Party free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The whole game is free to play. Pro and Family only raise limits, like how many live online games you can run at once: 3 on Free, 10 on Pro and 12 on Family.

Question 2

What do Pro and Family add?

Accepted Answer

Higher limits. You can run more live games and games over days at once, save more games to the cloud, keep more replays longer and let more people watch the games you host. Family covers 3 to 6 people. No token, board, dice skin, frame or CPU character comes with a plan. Looks are earned with coins on every plan.

Question 3

How does the Family plan work?

Accepted Answer

Family is paid per seat: $1.99 a month each, for 3 to 6 seats, you included. Whoever buys it sends the other members a Family invite by email, and every member signs in with their own Rent Party account and gets Family’s limits.

Question 4

Can I buy a plan in the Android app?

Accepted Answer

No. Plans are sold only on the Rent Party website, and the Android app shows the plan you’re on without selling one. Once your plan starts, it works everywhere you sign in, the Android app included.

Question 5

When does my plan start?

Accepted Answer

As soon as the Rent Party team confirms your payment. We check payments by hand, and the email that confirms yours gives the date your plan runs until: one month for each month you paid for. If it isn’t confirmed, your plan stays as it was and we email you. Write to us from the Help page if neither comes.

Question 6

What happens when my plan ends?

Accepted Answer

Your account moves to Free, and we email you before that happens. Nothing is deleted in the move. Online games already running play on to the end, and Free’s limits only block starting new ones. Cloud saves and replays above Free’s slots become read-only until a plan covers them again, and each replay keeps the expiry date it already had.

Question 7

Can I get Pro without paying?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every 3 confirmed friend invites earns you a month of Pro, up to 6 months in any 365 days. Each invite also earns coins and a badge. An invite counts once your friend has an account and their email address is confirmed. If you’re on Pro or Family already, the reward extends your plan.
